HOW IT WORKS
HOW W.E.N.D.Y.™ WORKS
YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING.
YOU HAVE TO START SOMEWHERE.
W.E.N.D.Y.™ is built to work over time, one task at a time.
Start from what needs your attention today. Choose a piece of work, take it into your reality, observe what happens and then carry on.
It is not a programme to complete all at once.
The work grows with you.
01 — START
Choose a Threshold, start from a book or use an Assessment to understand where to begin.
02 — WORK
Each task starts from something concrete and accompanies you for a few days in your real work.
03 — TAKE IT INTO REALITY
Between one visit and the next you work, decide, observe, try and record what happens.
04 — CARRY ON
You complete the task, keep the work you have done and continue with the next step.
WHAT A TASK IS
An Identity Task™ is a short piece of work that starts from a concrete situation, from something you are going through or from a point you want to work on.
You don’t have to solve it in front of the screen.
The task asks you to observe, step in and check what happens in your real work, usually over a few days.
During this time you can go back into the task, edit your observations and add what emerges.
When you have done the work required, you complete it. The task stays in your personal area and you can move on to the next piece of work.
THE WORK DOESN’T HAPPEN ON THE SCREEN.
It happens between one visit and the next, while you work, decide, react and observe what changes.
That is why every task has a minimum duration.
WHAT YOU FIND IN W.E.N.D.Y.™
You don’t have to use everything, and there is no single training that is the same for everyone.
You can start from the point that concerns you today and, over time, access different experiences and levels of work.
THE THRESHOLDS
THE ENTRY POINT.
You start from an area that needs your attention today and work through short, progressive Identity Tasks™.
PLAY ON BOOKS
FROM READING TO PRACTICE.
You start from the books of the W.E.N.D.Y. Series™ and turn what you have read into concrete experience through dedicated tasks.
REAL WORK SITUATIONS
WORK ENTERS REAL PROFESSIONAL SITUATIONS.
Role, relationships, pressure, decisions and responsibilities become the field of work.
Professional Experience becomes available once you have met the requirements.
MICROPLANS
WHEN YOU KNOW WHAT YOU WANT TO WORK ON.
They are thematic programmes built around a specific professional point. You work through a sequence of tasks and can return to the MicroPlan over time.
OK. WHERE DO I START?
W.E.N.D.Y. ASSESSMENT™
If you don’t know which Threshold to start from, you can start here.
The W.E.N.D.Y. Assessment™ looks at the five areas of the Thresholds and shows you the one — or ones — that may need more attention right now.
It does not decide for you.
It gives you a point from which to start working.
To take the Assessment you need to create your free account and complete your profile.
OTHER ASSESSMENTS ALONG THE WAY
W.E.N.D.Y.™ also includes other Assessments that become available at different stages of the work.
They let you observe what is emerging, compare it over time and return to your Insights.
The results and history of your Assessments remain in your personal area.
YOUR WORK STAYS WITH YOU
W.E.N.D.Y.™ doesn’t start from scratch every time you come in.
In MY WORK you find the work you are doing, what you have completed, your Assessments and the history of your training.
It is your personal work area: the point from which you can pick up what you started and see what you have already been through.
AND IF SOMETHING EMERGES OUTSIDE A TASK?
Not everything emerges while you are answering a question.
Sometimes something becomes clear hours later, while you are working or somewhere else.
MY SPACE is the space where you can leave notes, thoughts and what you don’t want to lose, so you can come back to it when needed.
MY SPACE IS NOT ANOTHER TASK.
It is the place where you can leave what you don’t want to lose.
THE WORK CONTINUES
What you complete doesn’t disappear.
Tasks, Assessments, MicroPlans and the experiences you go through build the history of your work over time.
You can go back to what you have done, observe what has changed and choose where to continue.
Identity Points accompany this progression and, together with the other requirements, can help make new experiences available.
